Sweden to everywhere

Hi!
I'm having days of From October to January and I would love to do a longer trip with out any plans for the moment. Seeking inspiration and a future travel buddy. So are you in planing mode I'm happy to know what you plan is!
My thoughts have been either take my Kawasaki er6n travel from Sweden or go to south America (somewhere.. maybe starting of in Colombia an then travel south). In case of Colombia I would buy a lighter bike, 200-400cc to travel with.

My earlier experience is a bit of Europe, Vietnam and a longer trip from Mongolia to Sweden by a Mongolian bike that we brought there and drove home.

I'm a 28 years old girl, living close to Stockholm and love to travel outside the touristy parts with my tent.

Hi and Welcome to the HUBB.

Not really looking for a travel partner, but if you want inspiration I am currently planning a trip from Finland to Oman by motorbike.

Route will be something like this:

EU -> Turkey -> Iran -> Iraq -> Kuwait -> Saudi -> Bahrain -> Saudi -> Quatar -> Saudi -> UAE -> OMAN

I think for the middle east you will need to travel with a man, or you will have problems in some of the listed countries, so not sure I can recommend it haha.

If you want something that you can take your bike to. I would recommend the Balkan countries, especially Montenegro has some breath taking routes, perfect for a bike. The prices are also very affordable!

Last winter I drove down to Cyprus through Europe-Turkey -> Ferry to Cyprus. I really enjoyed it.

But yeah, welcome

Your ideas sound interesting.

I'm going to Colombia on November 18th for a month and renting dirtbikes and riding a lot of off road trails would be fun.

I have a good amount of traveling experience in Colombia.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
