Overland Mongolia - China - Laos

Hi guys,
Myself and my partner will be crossing China (Erenhot to Mohan)during July - We already have a preferred guide and as you probably know, with more cars/people in a group, the costs go down. We have a Land Rover Defender with space for a guide; we're looking for other travellers (with their own vehicles) to join our group...

Get in touch if you're planning a similar route!
Cheers,
Caesar's drivers

Hi MazMaz - I believe so, although perhaps there's an upper limit. We've been told by the agency that we could take a guide in our car e.g. if other members of the group were on bikes or didn't have spare seats.
thanks for your message and wishes!

Hi all, my partner and I are planning to cross from Mongolia (at Erenhot) through China to Laos in October or November 2016. We've got a quote and a pretty-good looking itinerary (3 weeks long) from Navo Tours. They have three other groups who want to go in early October, which is great for cost sharing. However, we are hoping to go later - towards the end of October or even beginning of November. We are flexible on itinerary but we are trying to find others who want to travel later.

wanderlust4ever, any chance you want to go a bit later? Also I'm happy to put you in touch with our guy at Navo if you want to join that group.

Also, WACaesar, we'd be super interested to hear about the rest of your route plan - we're trying to plan how to get through Russia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia now. Do you have a blog or anything?

China: Erenhot (Mongolia) - Mohan (Laos) 2016

Hi All,

I'm also going to be crossing China this year with my girlfriend. I am currently planning on c. 25 days from Erenhot to Mohan entering the country around the 15th of August 2016. I would be very keen to split the cost of the trip so please let me know if anyone is free and would like to link up

Please pm me or reply on the thread (am a newbie so not really certain how this forum works) if you're interested in linking up

Look forward to hearing from you!

Alex

Hey Wanderlust,
We are looking to share the experience and cost through China in Oct / Sept. Are you still going around this time? Do you have people to go with?
