Kyrgyzstan - China - Pakistan / Start 9th October 2015 / Seeking for Travellers
Hi everybody!
On my RTW-Trip 2015/2016 I want to drive the KKH from Kyrgyzstan - through China - to Pakistan.
Specific:
I will cross the border on the 9th October from Kirgistan to China - on the 12th October the border from China to Pakistan.
The details:
Another traveller resp. my travel-buddy had to cancel his trip through china - unfortunately. So, actually I am alone resp. one guy on one bike. Nearly everthing is organized already - the guide, hotel bookings etc.
Is anybody interested in a little group to share the costs? I think three people would be enough.
If yes, please send me private message or an E-Mail. That would be fine!
Best greetings from Irkutsk (Russia),
Christian

Hey John,
thank you for your answer. I don´t get an PM from you - sorry. Maybe something went wrong. You can send me an E-Mail to info@chvogel.de? Otherwise you find me on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/christian.vogel.5283
That would be great to get your reply via E-Mail. But we can communicate via facebook, Whats App or Skype. This could be a lot faster.
Already at this point the following informations:
. Right today I got the information, that it would be able - if we are fast with the organization - to make the trip from the 17th until the 21th September. Three weeks earlier than I planned before - which could be very good, because it isn´t that cold.
. After Pakistan I would to go to Nepal and North India.
It´s very good to hear and read that you are maybe interested. I am looking forward for your answer and sending kindly regards from Ulan Bator,
Christian

Welcome to the world's best kept secret, Pakistan.
Late October can be cold around Khanjerab area. I hope you have arranged for that.
The pretty valleys along the KKH would be inaccessible in October because high passes are closed. Still try to visit Deosai, Shimshal, Minapin valleys, they are gorgeous.
Cheers
Omar

Dear Omie,
thank you very much for your reply, the further informations and - on top - the hints for Pakistan. I will try to see those points.
Al least I will try to enter China/Pakistan a little bit earlier - on the 17th September; three weeks earlier than I planned before. I hope this helps e little bit to avoid the avoid a cold ass. ;-)
When I get further in my plannings. Can I get in contact with you again?
Greetings from Ulan Bator,
Christian

Perfect timing
Hi mate, I'm a solo traveller as well in a pajero, I also want to go through the KKH into Pakistan at a very similar time and would love to share the costs with you. I'm from England but am currently in Tajikistan and making my way back to Bishkek today to organise the Chinese visa and car permits/plates etc. maybe the Chinese tour guide can jump in my car?
I already have Pakistan and India visas so just China bureaucracy to deal with!
Just registered on horizons unlimited to respond to this.
Would I be able to meet you in Kyrgyzstan so where to work out the details??
Get back to me ASAP please!
Hassan!

I have been thought Gallipoli to Izmir then back up to Inegol to Ankara and not seen a thing. The border crossing was easy. Do your e-visa online before you arrive and get green card at duty free or prior to arriving

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
