Hey Max,

my name is Michael and I was also planning on doing a similar trip. I was planning on riding nepal until second week of november, then heading thru Burma to Thailand, hopefully within a 7-12 days and on the cheaper side. Would love to join you and start getting quotes! Let me know!

Hello Max!

I'm also looking to cross Burma from India around December. I don't have an exact date, but will be entering Pakistan on the 29th of october, and am planning to cross into India via wagha border crossing around the 14th of november.

So crossing Burma is looking good for December - I just don't have an exact date just yet.

Hi all,

I also want to cross Myanmar around that time, maybe later. Depends on how much I like India and Nepal.

The rules did just change, keep up to date in this FB group. I hope it will be cleared up by the time we want to cross.

Hey you found the world travellers!
I am also looking to Cross Myanmar in approxiametly the beginning of December. Right now i am in turkey heading to Iran, Pakistan, India and then to Nepal. I just have to decide if it is better to ship the Bike from Nepal to Thailand or to Cross Myanmar but I definetly prefer to Cross Myanmar, so would be a pleasure if es could arrange a group there! We'll keep in Touch!

Hi All,

I'm planning on crossing Myanmar from India to Thailand late November. Moosi - did you already have requested quotes? If not I'll send some emails out.

I'll aim for a cheap 7-10 day trip, depending on what the agency offers. Please PM me if you are interested in joining.

Thanks!
Toon

Hi All,

So I'm planning to cross Myanmar for India to Thailand in a few months. Today I head about the new rules and really wondering about your experiences. Are there people not allowed? Are most people granted a permit?

It's a very important factor in this trip and not seeing any way to go around Myanmar so looking forward to hear about the latest details.

Rough date header?

Hey Max (and you toon),

Have you got any definite dates for the crossing? I'm supposedly crossing into india on the 10th of november, and so, with bike repairs being quite possible by the time I reach India from the stans and china, I will need some days to work on the old girl.

I'd be looking around a December/january crossing, but dates are flexible for the sake of saving myself some cash money. Still keen to join in as is Trumpet.

On an 800xc currently in Iran.

Hi Dutchie,

We are thinking about a date between the 20th and 25th of November. Would that fit your schedule?
We didn't set the date yet - we will do that later depending on others that join us!

Cheers!
