China: Erenhot (Mongolia) - Mohan (Laos) 2016

Hi All,

I'm also going to be crossing China this year. I am currently planning on c. 25 days from Erenhot to Mohan entering the country around the 15th of August 2016. I would be very keen to split the cost of the trip and can delay by a little bit of this is going to help.

Please pm me or reply on the thread (am a newbie so not really certain how this forum works) if you're interested in linking up

Look forward to hearing from you!

Alex

Hi Fiddlesticks

we have similar plans crossing China in October. I wanted to send you a pm but I'm not aloud since I'm very new to this Forum and don't have 3 posts yet.

We're leaving from Switzerland in April and travel down the Balkan, Greece, Turkey, Iran and the Stans to Mongolia. We plan to be in Mongolia around September and then cross through China in October.
Did you already receive a tourplan incl. Tibet? For now we've only got offers from Erenhot to Mohan in 25 days, but we don't like to rush and would rather spend a bit more time in China. So would be interested to hear about the tour you're planning.

Hi Diana,

We will enter China mid September for a 47 days tour incl. Tibet. We booked with NAVO tours and we are with three cars now. Still place for one other car to join.
Nice itinerary, a bit slow and a long time in Tibet.

Grtz Hans.

Hi everybody,
We have a nice group, 4 cars, 8 persons. So no need for more people. I just wanted to thank this beautiful group of people who keep this forum alive. Surely I'll come back with questions and answers in the future. In e few days we are on the road again. Living our dreams!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
