Hi folks.
I just saw this by chance. Looks like I am on a similar route than you. I started my journey in switzerlans 3 weeks ago. Now im in slowakia. My goal is to get around the globe. Have a look at my website: www.twine.bike
I have my Pakistan visa already in my passport and the Iran visa i will pick up in Istanbul. In pakistan the border area to Iran (Afghanistan) is not safe but the rest should be fine, according to the ambassador. So I am thinking to get somehow to Karachi. Maybe by ferry or plane. And then drive up to Lahore and enter India there. Let me know how your trip goes. Maybe we could meet somewhere on the road

hi, I am riding the same direction, also from belgium.
I started yesterday, BUT i do it slowly because I don't want any hearing damage anymore. I already have tinnitus. I try to avoid highways and do not more then 300km a day.
but if paths might cross, I'm always in for a little meetup.

Hi all
My husband and I are currently in Iran and will be crossing into Pakistan with our vehicle later in the month.
dearinar, how did the border crossing go? It would be great to hear the latest info, if you have the time/internet to give a quick report.
Ratte, we (Australians) obtained our Iranian visa in Istanbul and it took two days. We obtained our Pakistani visas in Australia as all info told us that we had to get it in our home country.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
