hi, I am riding the same direction, also from belgium.
I started yesterday, BUT i do it slowly because I don't want any hearing damage anymore. I already have tinnitus. I try to avoid highways and do not more then 300km a day.

but if paths might cross, I'm always in for a little meetup.

india/nepal woud be great. but I see how it goes with my ears, so I take it slowly and without any goals to realize. I currently in germany, end of this day around or in Munchen I guess.
My girlfriend will fly on Turkey end of july to visit me...

I just have seen the HUBB meeting in montenegro, that woud be nice to go, but its already in 3 days so that woud make I will only see highway and I don't like.
I have a whole month from germany to turkey, I can do it relax I have no plan.

oh yeah, and I need to fix visa for pakistan and Iran if I make it to there, but I don't mind waiting on it in turkey.

I'm planning to start my journey in a couple of weeks. I have all visas needed up to Thailand (i.e. Iran, Pakistan, India, Myanmar). It would be nice to meet someone of you if you are close to my route in next 2-3 months. So keep replying.

Hi all

My husband and I are currently in Iran and will be crossing into Pakistan with our vehicle later in the month.

dearinar, how did the border crossing go? It would be great to hear the latest info, if you have the time/internet to give a quick report.

Ratte, we (Australians) obtained our Iranian visa in Istanbul and it took two days. We obtained our Pakistani visas in Australia as all info told us that we had to get it in our home country.

KKH is probably not on my route but on the other hand I have no detailed plans. So I'll inform you about my position in September. Sure, it would be nice to meet somewhere.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
