on the road.
My wife I are heading south in September. Leave U.K. Via tunnel 12.50 on the 6th.(Thurs).
. Stopover near Riems that night then onto second night stop on 7th to set us up for doing the Swiss highpasses. We will also be doing the petit st. Bernard where they film part of the Italian job we have then to make our way to Austria where we have booked a week at the hotel Enzian in Landeck near Innsbruck for a week. If you have never done the passes in that area, truly you have missed out on something special!

I did some of the passes last year, they are fab. I find it hard to decide what gets missed out, just as much as what gets put in on these trips!

Yes the passes are fun . After that we are going to Budapest. Back in 2008 we did a whirlwind tour of Europe , we did a nightstop there and thought we must go back one day. Its only taken four years!
. . . . Anyhow, good luck with your trip and stay safe.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
