Hi Broesel, hey canoeguy,
I am trying to leave a bit earlier. But it wont be before 1st of June. Trying to catch the ferry Ancona to Cesme (Turkey) on 4th of June. Do you already have your Visa for Iran? Did you tried to get a Tourist Visa? I failed with my Reference-Number, and know it seems that I only get a transit-Visa for 5 days.
Would be nice, and a good idea, to ride partly together. There is a nice "Meetingpoint" in Dogubayazit (Turkey), next to the Iranien border..
Greetings

Hey canoeguy and helmut,
I will hit the road this weekend and after a few stops I will probably cross into Poland first, that might be already next week and then straight south-east. If you, Helmut catch a ferry around the 4th of June, I think we should team up in Turkey and who knows, maybe canoeguy can make it too. That would be awsome. No, I don´t have a visa yet for Iran. I contacted key2persia, but I am still waiting for a reply. If that doesn´t work, I will pick up a transit visa in Turkey(hopefully).
Gotta go, keep in touch and good luck, ... I will be there.
Christian
