Crossing China

Hey travellers!

We are looking for someone who travel with us (with his own car) through China! We are on our trip since 30th June and want to travel from Mongolia over China to Laos. We both - Axel and I - are on the way with a VW t3. That means no routes for 4x4 vehicles, and not more than 90 km/h.. :-)
The time for the entry in China is the 11th October 2016, about 25 days.

So please contact us, if YOU want to enjoy this great trip with us through China!

Best wishes
Suse and Axel

You will not need a 4 x 4

Hi Suse & Axel,

My wife and I traveled from Erenhot (Mongolia) to Laos in 2014 and had no problem, with no 4 wheel drive, we are now planning the same trip only in reverse starting April/May 2017.

Good luck with your trip and enjoy.

Our web site address for the trip is www.plodd.net.

Hello Suse and Axel,

We want through China too.(Camping car also not 4x4, with scooter in the camping car)

We thought from Kirgisistan to Tibet and Laos, but everything is open.
Also is this way for us alone too expensive (9.550.- USD)

Where are you now?
Are you doing this with Tibetmoto? (Till now we are in contact with Tibetmoto but still nothing planned).

Greetings from Stockholm,

Petra & Mattia

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
