As has been said a million times, it is better to make the trip at all rather than wait for the perfect opportunity (like when you have a six month window). I can always come back later.

 A lot of people believe that is too fast a pace and you won't see anything. Do what you think is appropriate, it's your journey to be traveled and enjoyed at what you know is right for you, there's is no wrong way to see the world. Have a good time and hope to see you as you pass me.
