Anyone riding Vietnam April 2018?

I'm interesting in an 18-22 day ride. Will rent bike with Tigit either in HCM or Hanoi.

Hello,
I'm planning on riding in Vietnam in April. I've reserved with this company to do a 16 day tour in the northern part of the country.

https://offroadvietnam.com/more-moto...-north-16-days

We're hoping for more riders. If we have more than 1 or 2 the cost is pretty reasonable.... around 150 per day including bike, meals and lodging.

If you're interested, email me at stuggle@pacbell.net

Hi there!

I am renting from Tigit at this moment. Riding my Honda XR for 5 weeks now. Escaped to Lao because the weather was horrible in Vietnam but it should be better in April..
If you have questions, please do email me at miaspruit@gmail.com
I don't know their tours but you can easily do this by yourself..

Greetz!
Mia

Cost

I think 150 per day is rather steep unless staying in the very best hotels and having all meals, gas and other fees covered. I'm renting an XR150 for 350.00 for just under a month period (about 12.00 per day). Meals and lodging should be around 40-50.00 per day. Of course I won't have a guide which would be quite nice in a few places. However unlike a ride to Eastern Europe, where we went to Vienna, Prague, Salzburg and Budapest and other cities, I don't think a guide would be so important in Vietnam. For 15-25.00 you can get tours arranged in several locations.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
