Anyone in France ??

Any one riding in France, south to north ?

I’m doing my first ever solo trip, I’ve ridden from Santander in Spain, through the Pyrenees mountains and am currently in Toulouse, the plan is to make my way back through France to Calais over the next few days but I don’t have any particular route in mind ?

I’m getting a bit bored of riding on my own, so If anyone else is heading a similar way and fancy’s meeting up then drop me a message

Hope you will find here some company.

Otherwise try for the next night a bike friendly hostel to connect. Did found a german website for that purpose, no idea how good the hotels are (please report here at HUBB if you did try)!

https://www.bikermotorradhotels.de/frankreich

If you dont get acompany, I suggest check this ideas:

- stay in partyhostels, you will meet easily at least non bikers
- Use Couchsurf Hangouts at night in bigger towns to get spontaneous accompany for /food

I did wrote about other ideas/suggestions/tips for not getting lonely abroad:
https://vanlife.4x4tripping.com/2022...e-friends.html

After a good night with acompany, you may appreciate a lonely drive more than before ;-)

I did severall longterm solo trips by 4x4, was able to try and find some ideas there!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
