Hi Scott!
That sounds great. I heard it's very common to find fellow bikers on the way and even make some miles together. What route are you planning?
Cheers!

I am planning on making my way to Winnipeg about 15 June and then New York at the end of June.
Keen to meet if we are going to cross paths...
Be careful in Quebec (if you plan to go there) they don't like motorcyclists...

Hi guys,
All set, I'm leaving in a week to Canada and then Alaska. I talked to some of you already so we can meet somewhere on the way, I wasn't expecting so many like minded people doing a like minded trip.
I'll be writing and posting snaps and vids here:

Hi Tom,
I am going to write a blog post about my experiences in shipping the bike just after I have got it out of Customs in Canada.

From Australia it costs $2800 from Brisbane to Vancouver. All in. There are a few costs added on top of the original quote. So be prepared for that.
My blog post is here, I made some rookie mistakes so you can read about them.

Hi RNS,
What kind of trip are you planning? For how long? I guess I'll be crossing the Mexican border around Sept, but we can meet somewhere on the way.
I'm adding all you guys as contacts so we keep in touch during out trips

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
