try the Riders Digest. It's London based, and used to be available only in London. But now it's distributed across the UK. It's free, but you may have to contact them to find out where to get it near you.
It'll be on the web somewhere.
here you go: The Riders Digest
from the editorial this month:
"It was the seasonal crowd I was thinking of last Sunday as I rode home from the Ace Cafe in yet another deluge; and it occurred to me that while I’d found the lack of sunny days this ‘summer’ mildly irritating, it must have been a major bummer for anyone who’d spent November through to April looking forward to riding their bike again.
So no pot shots at our fair weather compadres, just a little advice: try worrying a little less about riding in the rain. Depressing as the torrential variety we’ve seen so much of this ‘season’ might seem if you get caught in it, it won’t actually kill you or cause you any permanent harm; and if you’re around when it clears, you might just find yourself – as I did when I was in the Horseshoe Pass – confronted by a spectacular rainbow splashed across a breathtaking landscape.
You’ve still got time between now and your next SORN, so why don’t you just go ahead and plan some rides without paying too much attention to the weather forecast, because you’ll never find that magical motorcycling pot of gold unless you’re prepared to ride among life’s rainbows."
quite right....
