Update May 15
HU and our organizing teams continue to monitor the local health requirements and travel situation for all events. We are aware that because some of our events are meant to be small and cozy, they are in more remote communities where medical facilities may be limited or far away. The last thing we want is for a lot of HU travellers from all over the world to visit these places and potentially put the local community at high risk of burdening limited facilities.
The Canada-USA border remains closed to non-essential travel until further notice. Travel between Canadian provinces is generally discouraged for now.
While some EU and Schengen Associated States are considering cautiously easing physical distancing measures within their regions, the European Commission made an official request to extend the non-essential travel ban to June 15th for visitors coming from outside the EU. We’re keeping an eye on this as it develops and how it may affect HU events in the EU.

Here's the current status of all 2020 HU events:

• HU Germany Summer: POSTPONED to July 30 - August 2, 2020. Subject to change. We will notify those who are registered for Germany Summer. (NOTE: Currently no change for HU Germany AUTUMN in October.)
• HU Latvia: POSTPONED. New date to be determined (TBD), in progress.
• HU Bulgaria Mini (July 3-5, 2020): Currently no change, but stay tuned.
• HU Canwest: POSTPONED to August 27-30, 2020. Subject to change. We’ve already booked next year’s event for July 22-25, 2021 which would be the weekend AFTER HUMM Cascades 2021 in Princeton, BC (see below). Fingers crossed for next year, make it a Motorcycle WEEK of refreshing open roads and trails in the Nakusp and Princeton areas.
• HU Sweden (July 24-27, 2020): POSSIBLY POSTPONED. Details still in progress, but currently no change.
• HU Newfoundland (August 11-14, 2020): POSSIBLY POSTPONED. This year’s inaugural event depends on the venue reviewing their options for the rest of the summer. We should have more info in June. We have penciled in a tentative alternate date in 2021 (TBD).
• HU Switzerland (Aug 13-16, 2020): Currently no change.
• HU Virginia (Aug 27-30, 2020): Currently no change. (Postponed from April 2020. This is the new date.)
• HU France (Sep 18-20, 2020): Currently no change.
• HU California (Sep 24-27, 2020): Currently no change.
• HU Germany Autumn (Oct 29 - Nov 1, 2020): Currently no change.
• HU South Africa (Nov 5-8, 2020): Currently no change.

2021 HU EVENTS:

• HU Romania: Tentative new dates May 27-30, 2021 (TBC).
• HUBB UK (June 17-20, 2021)
• HUMM Cascades (July 16-18, 2021): It’s the weekend BEFORE HU CanWest in Nakusp, BC, so make it a Motorcycle WEEK of refreshing open roads and trails in the Nakusp and Princeton areas.
• HU CanWest (July 22-25, 2021): This is booked regardless of the status of CanWest 2020.

Remember, we will announce any event postponements at least TWO months in advance, unless the government makes a change that forces us to cancel. We will always make decisions with safety of both yourselves and the local Community an absolute first priority.
