For sale - roof tent - as new - u.k. Cheshire
£525.00
1/ For sale here is a standard sized Terrain expedition roof tent. It's very lightly used and in good condition.
Perfect for many types of Land Cruiser, and many types of Land Rover, and other 4x4 etc.
Has fly blinds, or bug screens, call them what you want, but they stop the little flying things getting in to eat you.
2/ This roof tent has been slept in for about 20 nights.
I bought it new.
3/ I have 2 magnum strength bars that hold the roof tent, and fasten onto hollow roof rails.
The roof rails will break before the bars will even think about bending.
4/ This can be mounted any of 3 ways on the roof, depend where you want the ladder, passenger side, drivers side, or over the rear.
5/ The tent has a thick purpose made green thick canvas/plastic cover to protect it which is zipped around.
The zip works perfectly, is heavy duty, and not likely to break any time soon.
6/ They do quite literally open up in 1 minute and go back down in 3 minutes on a warm day, when the thick cover is nice and pliable.
7/ The tent weighs about 60kg, so needs 1 person each side to lift it onto the vehicle roof.
8/ You would need something like a small van to move it or a trailer, or even onto your roof rails if they are compatible with the magnum bars.
You could simply just strap it to your roof rails to get you home, with a more permanent fixture planned for later.
9/ It is a great size roof tent, easy to accommodate 3 adults if that’s your nectar.
10/ I have a shower tent / toilet tent which I will also throw in.
There is no toilet, but I have seen the shower tent / toilet tent within this last week.
I have 2 x solar shower bags, with hose and shower head, which I will throw in, if I find them.
I will look, but don't be dissapointed if they are not found.
My roof tent is in my garage, and is bone dry.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
