I would suggest contacting the Nat Assoc of Disabled Riders, for details as they have wide contacts & could put you in touch with someone near you.

Saw a guy on one of their stands at a show; his bike was an Aprilia RSV Mille, I think, adapted to be ridden with one leg and one arm missing.
Most impressive.

What will you be like pushing a half ton of outfit backwards?
This can be avoided 95% of the time with a bit of forward planning, but even experienced drivers can get trapped by unseen events or inconsiderate parking. If you can push fine (shoulder the headlight and drag the front wheel spokes upwards gives a bit of gearing), if not there is the Ural/Goldwing option (reverse gear), expensive mods to fit a reverse gear to a BMW or Harley, outfits that are almost trikes using VW or Reliant mechanicals or fitting a caravan mover to one of the wheels.

Thanks for the advice. Getting the frame on the XT660 beefed up and a Motopodd single seat on. Chair weight 89kg without seat
if i have reverse problems ill keep a tow rope in chair ot fit winch or move to a reversing combo. I now have bits tovget rid of like centrenstand and behind bike trailer.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
