Tommy, enjoy. If you're into it, visit Samye Ling Tibetan monastery on Eskdale Muir. If you go further north, stick to the west coast, generally. If you get the Western Isles, be prepared for a type of landscape which you might not have seen before. Uist is special.
Ooty; You should have shouted louder from your igloo at the bloke. In your own impenetrable accent of course.  Or just gargled, "I'm going outside, I may be some time."
Or whistled "On Ilkley moor baatat", for your best communication experience. All this, before you got your Glasgow kiss - or you might have found whistling a teeny bit difficult? And you say he was "ugly" - do you mean you didn't fancy him?
