The HUBB PUB Chat forum - no useful content required!

BUT the basic rules of polite and civil conduct which everyone agreed to when signing up for the HUBB, will still apply, though moderation will be a LITTLE looser than elsewhere on the HUBB.

Nowhere to post videos here - Grant?

I know I must be too stupid or maybe not.

Why is there nowhere to post videos?

Grant will slap me for this but I'm sure people are interested in links to videos, even if they are 5 minutes of dull gopro footage with some stolen music track on them.

just a thought

He means why is there no section on the forum where videos can be posted (a video thread or section) not "how do i post a video"

Do we need one? i just go on youtube & watch them.

Most probably it's a bandwidth issue. YouTube, Vimeo and similar sites doesn't loads HZ's bandwidth.

? What do you want?

A video would be of something. That 'something' would be of a certain subject - select the HUBB subject that is the closest match for that video subject. And then post a link there with some text to give a hint of what it is about. No point in having a HUBB subject for text... it would be full of all sorts of different things of no relationship other than being in text format.

Does that 'solve' your question/problem?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
