BUT the basic rules of polite and civil conduct which everyone agreed to when signing up for the HUBB, will still apply, though moderation will be a LITTLE looser than elsewhere on the HUBB.

3 festivals done. Writers festival - I built them a streaming studio, ran it, edited them all. Local TV and radio hosts would interview authors from all over the world, discussing their current releases. Then the poetry festival - 60 poets either sending me video's to edit or connecting up to my system to record their reading....Then I stitched them together with introductions....lots of editing. And while both of those were on, I moved my system into a theater to work with the Jazz Festival. My system has 8 HD video inputs, and audio - for streaming or recording, or both....worked with 4 bands over 2 days streaming.

Sure was nice to be working, now its nice to be off. The other great thing is these paydays will pay for my new bike, THE BIKE. The one for the RTW trip. A used bike, new to me BIKE, where I have a space set up to work on it over the winter......can hardly wait.

And news of a vaccination for Covid....makes May 22, 2022 look real good. So much to get ready for....Today I purchased an ambisonic suite of products that will allow me to produce 3D audio for VR....and I already have a 360 camera....Recorded one of the jazz bands in 360 with ambisonic mic set up. Will be my first production....this is one of the elements of the recording studio I am building for the motorcycle, and the trip.....

I have set up part of my financial structure for travel. Managed to save a bunch just for the trip. And the beat goes on.

The next big project is to get to work on my web site.....This will be some learning curve. Next week, I start hard on this - every day studying, planning and beginning work on the site. We need to become real close friends, the web site and I.....Part of this will be beginning the blog, and getting my youtube channel started - so a pubic opening is getting close. 2 months or a little more, I hope.

Thanks for reading.....I'm back. Love this community, lots of great posts. Looking forward to reading a bunch and getting into the groove, so to speak.

Now its time for a pint!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
