Forks (front end) is lowered internally, not by raising fork tubes in triples. I would return all to stock height unless you need it lower. You get more leg room in standard position. Helps overall comfort, gives back a bit of suspension travel lost from lowering.
I'm assuming XF forks are same non-cartridge 43mm KYB units used on DR650?
Also, if seat is anything like DR650 then your experience is typical. It's a one hour seat before pain sets in. Wider is better. Here is my Corbin ... good for 10 hours a day in the saddle.
