Have done this myself. For the front just push the fork tubes up as far as they will go, without them touching the handlebars. Lowers about 35mm. No need to dismantle the forks à la Suzi instructions.
There is already a second hole in the rear shock. However, you must follow Suzi's instructions: remove the shock, remove the spring, remove the metal plate underneath it and install the alu spacer the other way round. This limits the suspension travel and is necessary, otherwise the clip holding the brake hose will hit the exhaust. When you put the shock back in you put the lower bolt into the upper hole. Lowers the rear about 40mm.
You need to shorten the side stand.
In the US Suzi sell a gel seat which is said to be lower and more comfy. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be available in EU.
