Selling a bike in Brazil

Does anyone have experience selling a bike in Brazil that did not originate there. Brazil will be my final destination and I was wondering what is required to sell the bike there if it came from another South American country. I for some countries purchasing a bike that didnt originate there can result in significant taxes and duties.

As someone told you already on other threads all your questions can be answered with research, reading the multitude of threads around.
Usually selling a bike (legally) where isn’t originate isn’t possible even paying significant taxes and duties. For extended details regarding it I also recommends to read the thousands threads.
People who have sometimes many years helping others and giving advice get boring and tired of reply always the same questions, on and on.
Also will help a lot if as a new member of this forum you introduce yourself and complete your profile always is nice to know who your interlocutor is.

Saludos and Buena Suerte!!!

I met a guy from Nova Scotia who sold his V-Strom in Brazil. He was at the HU meet in NS last year but I can't remember his name. i'm sure he'll see this and answer you. Eventually

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
