Here are some details that will help those that don't know what OSM means.
OSM = Open Street Map
OSM is an open source project where thousands of people around the world are constantly adding roads and details to a huge GPS database. The maps sets are free and very good. - Go to this URL: Free worldwide Garmin maps from OpenStreetMap
- Select the country and click download
- On the next screen, click "osm_generic_gmapsupp.zip"
- Clicking on the link will download a compressed file containing a single image that can be placed directly onto the SD-card of the GPS. The *img file must be copied to a directory labeled GARMIN on the SD Card. Unzip first!
- Activate the maps set by selecting the new item on your Garmin GPS in the Maps info area.
(Hopefully I recorded the steps and details correctly.)

I've been using OMS maps for years. They are great and get better every day.
