That's what Photoshop is for. If you opt for this approach, make sure you scrape the decal off as well.
But whatever you do DO NOT try this in the US or Canada. Our computer systems are all linked and you'd just be asking for trouble. Fraud charges come to mind.

At that time they told me that another option is to give someone else official permission to renew for you. This has to be in writing and they (your contact, not ICBC) can then send the new registration to you. Call them or email them to find out exactly how to do this. Less information is better. You're not available to renew it yourself ...that's all.
