Doesn't seem worth while...
It looks like a mountain of paperwork to get a 10 day in transit visa, which expires 1 month after it is generated and you still have to pay the reciprocal tourist fee...something in the area of $160.00.
This web page appears to be provided for travelers from the Middle East. I imagine the details would apply. If you are really stuck on this route, you might want to reach out to the Brazilian Embassy

Brazil is a pain to access, but its worth it. I can't figure out why are you want to cross through a small corner of it. Considering the expense and paperwork, I would look into different routes.
