For camping, look for 'Camping Club Do Brasil'. There are sites on the coast as far north as Fortaleza, not too many of them but they're all bike friendly. The campsite outside the entrance for Foz Do Iguacu is one & you can get a brochure with the addresses of all the others.

Hey there Smelly!
Just in case anyone else was having trouble with the website mentioned above, the actual website for the Brazilian posta in Florianopolis is Cicero Paes - Saindo do Lugar Comum - Relato de viagens sobre moto. I haven´t seen it nor do I know anything about it other than the site info, but on his website it says that there is a two night maximum stay, so it looks like it´s only for if you´re just passing through. I would recommend staying longer to explore Ilha Santa Catarina.
There are a couple of camping places at Lagoa da Concepcao, and maybe one two kilometers north of Pantano do Sul (I´ll get back to you all on that).
The Camping Club Do Brazil also has a website: Camping Clube On-Line. I don´t know how useful it is.
