I would like to get some confirmation of this information. Thanks a lot in advance .

I can confirm that it was pretty easy to enter Senegal with a 25 year old car coming from Mali (Kayes) and NOT having a Carnet. But this information is 14 month old. But I don't really expect any change. Back than we did not have to bribe anybody, everybody was very correct and friendly. It took us between 1 and 2 hours to cross because there where approx. 4 stations we had to got to (but everybody was pointing us to the next one) and we had to wait at immigrations until they finished a couple of busses.
