Yes you are right Tom, in many ways. Yes I should be around your part of the world now ish....but as you said cold , warm sea's and beautiful girls kept me a little longer on the last leg, instead of 6 months Europe to Australia it took 13. Then I was offered a amazing job on a remote Falkland Island so spent 7 months there, 3 months back home and now just back in Australia. Now drawing on maps and multiplying weekly earnings by four and then by available months to work... and comming up with a gap between what I have and what I will need. So.... new plans will be drawn up and pondered over. It has me in a catch 22 position. If I leave when the seasons are right I don't have enough money, if i wait until I have enough money then I will be riding in the rain....
and then into winter!
But in essence "Estimated time (> 1 year) and the continent (South America)" Is just about all the planning I really need!
To be sure...I will get up to BC!
Two Kiwis on bikes.... humm thats not Gareth and Helen is it?

Heya George
No, we are Andi & Ellen from Wanaka in New Zealand.
All our details are in our profile but it does not show for some reason and I am not sure why, probably one tick of a box would sort it.

Heya George
We are a really nice couple (or at least that is what we tell everybody )
Africa is one place we have not been yet so pretty sure it wasn't us.
Will follow your trip with interest too, we have no specific plans other than ride to what interests us next.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
