USA EAST MOTORBIKE HOLIDAYS: looking for budget hotel
Hi, in August 2025 I booked a BMW motorbike to go around USA EAST. I will leave from NY gooing north following the coast, Acadia national park, and then go to withe mountains, Niagara falls, Michigan lake, and then back home.
I had a look to hotel and I sow that they are too expensive. Is there a way to sleep in a budget way? I would prefer hotel, houses, or cabins in camping.
Are there web sites where I can book in advance or it's safe to go around and every day look for a place to sleep?

Have a a look at www.ioverlander.com. I haven’t used it personally but it gets referred to by many people as being where they got their camping locations from.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
