Travellers Welcome in Newcastle

Hi Folks,

Want a break from the road for a day or 3? We are very happy to offer a room with double bed, shower, feed and lock up shed (basic tools). So if you're cruising up or down the East Coast of Australia from anywhere on anything. Feel free to contact us.

All we ask in return are travellers tales. Can't get out there for now so have to live through those that can.

Matt & Floyd (pooch)

If you are happy to host another Australian, whose travels have been mainly within Australia and therefore not too many tales to tell, I may be your way in October.

Regards,

Shane

Hi Matt, Stephany and Floyd,

My name is Mart (Mathew) Heijnens, a motor biker from the Netherlands. I travelled overland to Australia. On previous trips I was eight months in de Middle East, I travelled around the world and through Africa. So travel storeys enough.

I am actually in Sydney. I will ride up from here to the north and Newcastle is on my way. Would like to meet you. However I leave Sydney tomorrow, so it might be a bit late. You can contact me by email (I have a hotspot): martheijnens-at-hotmail-dot-com. Before I pass Newcastle I will check my email.

Hope to see you,
Mart

Hi Mart,

We would love to have welcomed you. Especially Floyd. Been sad times here. My father passed away and we have been offline and with family at this time. Am sure you will understand.

I hope you are having a great time and staying in front all this wet winter weather.

Maybe when we hit the road we can meet you in the Netherlands.

All the best to you mate

Matt, Steff and Floydypup

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
