Yes, I was at 2015 HU Mini-Meeting at Rider's Corner, kind of in the back ground. Missed 2016 (was headed to the bottom of South America) and 2017 (was on Southern Africa rally/tour, the "Soft Butt Adventure Ride).
In 2011, I has some fun with the 70's era Urals in Vietnam. Here's a link:

One year (2005 or 2006?) I arrived in Da Lat on a rented Minsk from Hanoi the day the local motorcycle groups were doing a group ride around the lake. Great fun (I rode in the far back). The only Goldwing in Vietnam at the time was there, quite a crowd gathering to listen to the radio!
Alas, all things change. Last Vietnam trip I saw many "big bikes," including a Valkerye and KTM, plus a few H-Ds. I used a "frankenstein" Minsk on that tour to do something a little different (Minsk, painted and badged "Kawasaki"), with a Wyn engine/tranny. Also great fun...see pic. Passed through Da Lat that trip, only stopping for a "burger" at a new place on the corner in the center of town.
Of the 5-6 different motorbikes I used over there, the Ural was the biggest (650 cc), and the loudest, with the worst brakes and most clunky tanny, but a most memorable trip.
Hope you can chase down your wheels at a reasonable cost.
