Myanmar crossing 2020, Thailand to India

Hi:

We are Ana and Josu, from the Basque Country, we crossed Myanmar in January 2019, from India to Thailand, with Osuga.

Currently we are in Malaysia, willing to join a group to cross Myanmar back, from Thailand to India, in February 2020. We would prefer a short transit, between Mae Sot and Moreh, in 4 or 5 days.

We drive a Toyota Hi-Lux Camper, and we can provide a seat for the guide, so that extra car and driver would not be necessary.

Hi Josu.

I am a solo traveller on a motorcycle and am also planning on crossing Thailand to India. I would like to join your group if the timimg works out. I am starting from Malaysia KL in a week, so your crossing might be a bit early for me. However, I am also aiming to get to India pretty soon, so it might work.

I would like to hear more if you have solidified any travel plans. Thanks!

Julia

Hi again

We are now part of a group. At the moment 4 campers and 1 biker; we will start from Mae Sot on the 1st of February for a 6 day - 5 night crossing. If anybody is interested, the group is open to more participants.

Julia, we are also sending you a private message.

Hi All.

Im sorry for my late reply, I just realized to turn on message notification.
Thank you for checking with me! Unfortunately it will not work for me to join you because I want to cross end of Feb (I am only in Malaysia now and still travel Thailand, Cambodia, Laos). So I think your group is too early for me.
Thanks and good luck for your travels!

Julia

Still Looking for a Group for Crossing Myanmar - Thailand to India

Hi All.

I am reposting here as I am still looking to join a group or form a group for a Myanmar crossing in the direction of Thailand going to India.

I would like to leave Thailand between the 10th-14th of February, and do between 7-10 days crossing. I am currently talking with tour companies and can easily organize the group if I can find other riders or overlanders to join me.

Please let me know if anyone out there is interested in joining forces.
Thanks!

Julia
