Cambodia bike rental

Covid permitting I'm off to Cambodia at the end of January for a few weeks and would like to rent a bike to travel around the country. Can anybody recommend a reliable, reasonable rental company ideally in Phnom Penh (although Siem Reap would also be OK).
Also, what is the situation with insurance in Cambodia? None of the rental companies I've contacted so far offer insurance. Is this easy enough to arrange myself (how? Where?) or is it generally not a thing?
Cheers all.

Thanks Big_Dave. They haven't been the mine of information I was hoping for; but we are living through strange times.
I am most concerned about the insurance question at the moment and would appreciate some clarity. Is Snakeboy not an authority on this region?? Paging Snakeboy..................!

Is bike insurance in Cambodia a taboo subject?? I've been met with a wall of silence on this issue (so far..) on the Facebook Cambodia riders group. I'm not going to hold anybody to anything; I just want to know what the general situation is. Anybody?

I have ridden a lot in Cambo. None of the borders I entered had insurance for sale. It may be possible for rentals and the renter should know how to go about this. At the end of the day though as a foreigner, you are in the wrong

I am not any expert on Cambodia at all but the only time I riding a motorbike in Cambodia insurance was afaik not available. This was in February 2015 thus some years ago. Things could have changed of course - but not that I have heard or read about.

Rideasia.net or GTRiders are expat forums for motorbikers in SEAsia, mainly Thailand - but you might be able to find some info there.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
