The only sheet maps I see here are really 'wall maps' or posters showing all Russia. They measure about 2 feet by 4 or 5 feet and show either political or physical detail.
There are quite a number of Road Atlas books like the one I have carried back to UK for 20+ HUBBers. They covered all Russia except some more remote northern areas.
Road Atlases are really a matter of personal preference. Colebatch prefers one with clearer, brighter, contrasting colours. The one I prefer and supplied has less bright colours but has more topographical detail for most areas.
There are better (more detailed and possibly more accurate) Road Atlases for just 'European' Russia which covers from Karelia south to the Black Sea/Georgia but only goes east to the Urals - the end of Europe. For most of this area there are also detailed larger scale city or region maps.
East of the Urals mapping is less accurate or up to date. There are folded sheet maps available for some specific Republics or areas within the RF, but they are not part of a comprehensive countrywide series and tend to be surrounding cities rather than for finding tracks in the wild.
I will probably be coming to UK in about 6 weeks and could search for and bring specific requests.
Air Mail Post from here takes just about as long!
I can, from time to time, get friends to take them earlier and mail them in UK or other west Europe countries.
As before, all I would ask, when maps are received I be paid the cost of the material and mailing. (Disappointingly, one HUBBer let me down but that will not spoil it for others, or change my life!).
