Just a few of the normal ones en-route to Accra - popular for very good reasons - it is going to be a trip of 2 halves - V hot, then V wet! You may get a few prices from Google searches of the below -

Le Relais 4x4 - Very nice, popular campsite + pool on way into Marrakech off Casa road (not so easy to find)
Fort Bou Jerif - out in the sticks near Guilmim - spectacular campsite & bedouin tents
Les Roi Bedouin Campsite - approx 42km N of Laayoune - great little restaurant but can be closed in the height of summer sometimes.
Auberge Menata (cheap) or Hotel Jeloua (nicer) in NKT (both run by same people)
Zebrabar - campsite / bar / heaven - signposted just after St Louis on road to Dakar.
Palal - lets you camp - next to Lac Rose at Dakar
Sukuta Camping - Serrakunda (near Banjul)
Bird Safari Camp - tents on the river in central Gambia (not as cheap as you might expect) - beautiful spot.
Casa Africa in Bobo - cheap & cheerful rooms & camping, or L'Auberge - costly but nice
Yapasdeproblem in Mopti - nice place & v good value but you can get cheaper
Hotel Tamana in Bamako - not the cheapest option but V nice
Hotel Bouctou in TBT - cheap rooms and okay
Hotel Ricardo - Ouaga - mid-range hotel - treat yourself, the view of the Volta at the poolside is amazing

Listed a few hotels later on (mid-rangers) so may be out of budget but you are in the rainy season so may make a welcome respite!

Good luck & have a great trip,
Lee

Green Turtle Lodge. Definitely in the top 5 of best beaches in Africa. You won't be able to leave. It's on your way when you come in from Ivory Coast.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
