Oct. 2016 Mx.,C.A.& S.A.

Heading to S. America around 10/2016.
Initial plan is to attend H.U. Horizon’s event in S. Ca. and begin our journey.
I’ll ride Darth(F800Gs 125K miles) and Stacie ride’s F700Gs,( 4000 miles)
Start off with Heidenau K60’s , perhaps in S.A. K60 rear and TKC front.
Plan is to cross Mx. Aqua Prieta rather than Nogales.
We hope to arrive at Basaseachic Falls that day. ( S. of entry and routes 17/117/16)
From there head towards Mazatlan, and ride the P. coast side down .
At some point head N. up into the Yacatan area .
Not positive about safety in Belize, after we head S. from there through some of Guatemala and El Salvador .
Guessing 30 days to ride to Panama for ferry crossing(Stahlratte) ,
In anyone’s experience: is it better to ship bikes back from T.D.F. or ride?
We at this point plan to ride back BUT!
We will camp and lodge/hostel.
Any idea's suggestions are welcome.
Thanks.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
