Can't you just take any crossing from Serbia into Kosovo. It' s coming the other way that can be a problem.

Let us know what happens. I'm in Belgrade but plan to go to Bulgaria, then Macadomia then Kosovo.

No problems

I did not want to go into fyr Macedonia because they screwed me for €50 about 10 years ago despite my having green card.
My wife persuaded to try the fyr Macedonia route. I
left Melnik in southern Bulgaria. Headed through Petrich and crossed the border heading for Strumitsa.
I had my green card and log book. Absolutely no problems one of our fastest border crossings. Some of the road was under repair but solid subsurface and no problem on my goldwing.

Them headed north bypassed Skopje heading for Kosovo.
Crossed the border on the m2 towards Kacanic. Kept on M2/e65 right into Pristina.
No bother at the border. Was asked to pull bike to one side and walk about 20 yards to buy Insurance €10 for 15 days.
Plenty of hotels. We stayed in hotel apillonia. Boring but clean. Massive rooms air con. Private parking €3 taxi to town centre. Now in Montenegro .Pondering our next move. Hope this helps . will check thread every day. John

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
