Question Ghana to Morocco by moto solo

Hello all! First time poster but I've been lurking for a while. I'm traveling from Accra to Morocco then hopefully onto Europe starting in late July or August. Riding an XT600Z I bought here in accra.
Anyone have any experience getting an African registered bike into Europe?

I'm also looking for any route suggestions! I'm currently looking at going cote d'Ivoire up to Bamako and onto Senegal then the coastal road to NBD. I'd like to take the roads less traveled but I'm an off-road noob. Must sees along the way? Cool places to stay? The only place I definitely want to stay is cool camp in manatali. I don't have much of a time frame so the plan is to take it all in. I just want to be in Europe by September or so!

Thanks!

If you want help in CI, get in touch ... there are some wonderful places to see but everyone seems to zoom by them! Put something together for Nandor who it seems is having a good time!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
