Britain, where to go.
I'll post up some routes but for starters:
From Pembroke head into Mid Wales. Some real gems there. Favourites for me :
Road from Llandovery past Llyn Brianne and through Abergwesyn common (ssh, this ones a secret......)
Youve got to do the Elan Valley too (between rhayader and Aberystwyth)
(My inlaws have a cabin near Llandovery - give me a shout on dates - if they work happy to give you a bed for the night and show you round the above stunning back roads)
Snowdonia NP
Lake district
Others will advise on borders of Scotland and SW islands, but plenty of joy there
Highlands: suggest Rannock Moor through Glen Coe, road to Gairloch, sky, Applecross peninsula, nW coast from there through Ulapool, round the north coast through Tongue, SE back to lairgs to Iverness and then into Cairngorms (skip Jon O Groats - scottish highlands amazing but far NE corner flat and a bit dull)
Then back down through England - take in Yorkshire Moors, yorkshire Dales, Peak District and if you have time get down into Cornwall.
No shortage of historic sites, castles etc all over the web so just fit to your route.
