Cheating on Thelma....
Poor Thelma had to stay home?!
How unfair!
I am sure she wanted to cruise Tibet.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr
Envious? I should say! Great as I'm sure it's going to be, the Adventure Travel Film Festival will be a poor substitute.

Chris, Thelma would have loved this trip, especially as there are other bikes to ride with. However she's hardly suffering, she's waiting for me in Mexico, yes she's still on an extended leave of absence since I left her there six months ago on the way home from your house. I was supposed to go back and get her, but this job came up and I wasn't going to say no!

Update
This is going to be a quick summary of 6,000 miles of riding, because as I suspected, I haven't had much chance to keep you guys posted here or even to email home much!
It's been an amazing trip so far, everyone has had an off, including me and naturally mine was the only fall captured on video camera, and not just one camera either! so look out for that one on youtube in the near future when I get the guys to download it. It was a particularly pathetic drop as well.
Europe, Turkey
working hard
I get a friend
Doggy Biscuit
Iran
Chador at the ready
Turkmenistan
Desert Camping
THAT flaming crater...just amazing, thanks to Majurk and his MotoSyberia DVD I've been wanting to go there for three years and finally I made it (last time I was denied a visa)
I've managed to bump into a few HUBBers as well- hello to you guys, especially Henry (?) and Zebb.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
