Come ride Africa with me! 42 days, 9000 miles, 9 countries and 12 border crossings!

Take 33 minutes out of your life, grab your kids, loved ones or friends and come ride a dirt bike across Africa with Josh and Leo!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72RNtbb9pQk

We started in Uganda and passed through Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Then we turned around and came back up through Lesotho, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania then back into Uganda.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip with lots of wildlife, adventures and mishaps along the way.

Special thanks to Leo and his family for their incredible generosity and for picking me to be the person who got to go on this incredible trip with him.

Or check my instagram account to see more pics and videos: Surfnride1
(you’ll have to scroll past our last 7 month campervan/box truck trip in OZ, NZ and Fiji to get to the Africa pictures)

Thanks for taking the time to watch. Feel free to rate this or share it.

Hope you enjoy the ride and I look forward to any questions you might have about this trip or any questions about helping plan your future Africa trip.

I do have the full detailed ride report up on another adventure forum but I'm guessing it's not PC to post it here right?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
