Africa on a 125cc street motorbike. (Traveling as cheap as possible)

I am currently riding a 125cc Honda street motorbike from South Africa to Uganda. My route will cover some 1300km on mostly dirt roads, off the beaten path, through some lesser seen areas of Africa. I've been traveling for 9 months already (2 months on motorbike) so my money is quickly running out, forcing me to travel as cheaply as possible. I camp for free anywhere I can, often out in the untamed wilderness with wild animals roaming about (speaking from personal experience). My blog is http://yodatravels.wordpress.com

Here are some photos from my crazy ride through the Namib desert... on mostly sand.

Internet in Africa of course is not the best so for more photos you can go to my blog!

Thanks and safe travels
from the desert.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
