Is it bad that I liked all the "misery" themed photos?

Smile Misery vs challenge...

Some folks seek out all the bad roads for the challenge, others avoid them... No judgment from me!

Hello Susan
Could you make a gallery with more of the 600+ pictures, they probably all deserve to be seen by others.
Thanks

Smile The 9th Annual HU Photo Contest winners have been chosen!

The votes are in! The 9th Annual HU Photo Contest winners have been chosen! See the pics that will be on the Horizons Unlimited 2015 Motorcycle Adventure Travel Calendar here: Photo Contest Winners for 2015 Calendar | Horizons Unlimited

Congrats to all winners. We had over 600 entries, so it was very tough to narrow them down to only 13! We'll be featuring the winning entries over the next couple of weeks.

Craig Wessner wins the Grand Prize of a South American tour from Compass Expeditions for his pic below of riding a floating bridge across the Song Ba Ren River, Vietnam, on a Soviet Minsk.

The top 3 pics won superb prizes from Compass Expeditions, Progressive Suspension and Global Rescue. All photographers share in the profits from the calendar sales, and also receive a free calendar plus annual HUBB Gold Membership.

The Horizons Unlimited Motorcycle Adventure Travel photo contest is an annual event for travellers to showcase their best photographs from their travels around the world. The next Calendar contest is on now - enter to win! http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/contest

I am enjoying my 2014 calendar for the most part. But I don't like the months where there is a picture of a bike without enough bike showing to tell what kind of bike it is. In many cases the verbiage doesn't tell either. September is a good example. I think it is a Yamaha XT225 from research on the owner but can't tell for sure.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
