With a lot of regret we are selling our trusted companion Peanut, a Mercedes 409D from 1988.

This Mercedes camper is an indestructible vehicle that is completely equipped for the adventurers among us. He has just had a full maintenance in February 2018 and they changed all the brake installation front and rear (3600€). On the roof of the camper there is a solar panel system of 200 Watt so you can wild camp all the time. This installation has been built in by the company Navex and is subject to the highest standards. On top of that there is an inverter and a battery monitor present in the vehicle so you can check the usage and the state of the battery at all time. There is also a 220V installation, which has been secured according to the present standards. We have a separate industrial gel battery for the living space of 140 A. There are also 2 skylights in the vehicle that create extra natural light inside. Inside the vehicle has a bunk bed with a slatted base. There is a functional bathroom with a chemical toilet, a sink and ample storage space. In the kitchen you have a 2-pit stove, a sink, ample storage space and a compression fridge with freezer space, which works completely on 12 Volt. There is Truma ring heating and all the appliances that work on gas are connected to the approved and build-in LPG tank that sits in the back of the van (approval by Apragaz). There is a separate seating area for 2 people with extra storage space underneath and the passenger seat can turn 180° so it can also be used as seating space in the living area. All the interior lights have been replaced by led-lights for a lower consumption. There is a 70-litre clean water tank inside the vehicle underneath the kitchen and a 50 litre grey water tank that sits underneath the vehicle. In the back there is a ‘garage’ available for storing all the tools and outside furniture. All the content of the vehicle is included (sheets, kitchen material, chairs, table, etc.) There is a big awning on the side of the vehicle just above the sliding door. Engine wise, the vehicle is in excellent condition. He only has 130.000 kilometres and has a towbar on the back. The vehicle is currently registered on a truck licence and has a maximum capacity of 4,6 Ton and weighs only 3,4 Ton fully loaded. This means that you can easily change it back to a car licence if you would like to. It’s a vehicle that is truly suited for the adventurous people who want to have fun for a long, long time with a bulletproof Mercedes Diesel Engine.

The vehicle is suited and ready to go and built for an instant adventure. We just took it on a trip to Iran for about one year and Peanut has never abandoned us! We never stayed on a campground during this year because the vehicle is designed for you to live 100% off the grid and autonomously.
