Land Cruiser series 80 for sale in Nairobi

Toyota Land Cruiser VX Limited Series 80 4.2 L turbodiesel - 1997

This is the "legendary" series 80; ideal for Africa. It's a very experienced vehicle, somewhat "bush-scarred" by extensive travel in the remoter parts of Southern and Eastern Africa. It's ideal for tough roads as well as comfortable for long journeys on highways. We are in the last 6 weeks of a 9 month trip from Nairobi to Capetown and back, during which we have visited 10 countries. By the time we get back to Nairobi we'll have covered something over 40,000 Km in the car, and would not hesitate to set out on another 40,000 Km in it.

We're planning to sell it in Nairobi at the end of October/early November. It's UK-registered, with current Kenyan & COMESA insurance.

Update on the Land Cruiser

After our 40,000 Km trip from Nairobi to Cape Town and back, the car has done another trip, from Nairobi through Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda, and has just arrived back in Nairobi.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
