I completed a 70,000km overland trip with this vehicle from Oz to Cape Town via Russia, Central Asia, Middle East and Africa, and was maintained on road by me (eg oil change every 5000km etc), hence part service history.

The troopy is currently in Cape Town and used only a few times per month to make sure everything is good. I am currently not in the country and will be back early April. The vehicle will be available towards mid/end of April 2013 - I want to make sure it is in tip-top shape before delivery to new owner.

This vehicle was imported into South Africa by me in 2010/2011 (originally registered in Australia) The vehicle is now registered in South Africa and registered on E-Natis. The vehicle has current South African road tax. There should be absolutely no issues for the new owner if you are worried about it being an import. All paper work in order.

Please post or email all questions to me. I am currently in China and do not have frequent access to the internet (I am on an overland cycle tour, so a bit slow between cities). I am not able to post any photos at the moment, but you can see some on our website in the meantime (www.seeyouwhenwegetthere.com).

I will only be able to post up to date photos once I am back in Cape Town.
Thanks

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
