2001 Land Cruiser Diesel for sale - Ireland

Hi folks, just returned from our 2 month North/West Africa overland adventure. Too short, but unfortunately have to work for a living...

Our 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser is up for sale:

Toyota VX Land Cruiser - Irish registered, 2001, RHD
Make: Toyota
Model: VX Land Cruiser (4 seat)
CC: 4200 Turbo
Gearbox: Automatic
Fuel: Diesel
Country of Registration: Ireland
Year of Registration: 2001
Current Location: Waterford, Ireland
KM: 236 000km
Price (USD): $26,500
Date of last service: Full service by Mc Connell Garage Waterford (Toyota Dealers) in October 2014, new water pump, timing belt, 3 gel batteries, 4 new tires, new after market trans cooler and trans fluid temp gauge, all filters (~10k km). New Bilstien Heavy Duty shocks, bushes, and brake pads done in 2013 (less than 12k km).

History: We bought the vehicle in Waterford in 2014 from previous Irish owner in who had completely overhauled and prepped the vehicle for an Africa overlanding trip in 2011-2012. He had brought it back to the Toyota dealership his family owns in Waterford. We bought it in Mar. 2014 for our North and West Africa overland trip which we did Nov./Dec. 2014 and had it completely gone over, replacing water pump and timing belt (although no indication of it needing it), installing a HD trans cooler and temp gauge, 4 new BF Goodrich tires, 3 new gel batteries, ARB awning, etc. We had no break downs or breakages and the vehicle did everything we asked of with no complaints! We are now back in the US, and we had the truck shipped back to Ireland from Dakar, where it is now waiting for its next adventure. This thing is a tank, but a very comfortable tank! Currently back at Toyota dealership, where they can give you a complete evaluation. We had a Carnet de Passage through ADAC (Germany), which was relatively inexpensive and easily available due to Republic of Ireland registration. This LC has EVERYTHING you need to jump in and drive back across Africa!!!

Extras:
- Outback Roof Tent with hard box and dust cover
- ENGLE 50L Fridge Freezer
- ARB awning (new 2014)
- Shower with water purification system and 80L storage tank; 2 extra water jugs
- Colour Coded Steel Single Hoop Front Bumper

Hi folks - we hate to have this vehicle languishing around with no adventure planned. Open to reasonable offers! It really is a turnkey unit - just add you and your clothes and food/drink and you are good to go anywhere!

Rick.
