Shipping company from Delhi to either Almaty or Bishek

Hi all,

does anyone know of a reputable shipping company (with a good track record) to ship my bike from Delhi to either Almaty or Bishkek. I have read bad things on here about shipping out of India (so a little tentative).

I had been working on the Tibet route and it does not seem to be panning out for numerous reasons. So now looking for my back up plan.

Was also thinking of shipping to the above locations from Nepal. Has anyone done this successfully?

Ryan

Delhi to Bishkek

Ryan - read this thread:

Air Freight / Shipping Motorcycle from India to Kyrgyzstan...Found cheap option

edit:

I understand that the shipping agent momo034 ended-up using was:

Shri Sai Cargo Movers - attn of Narinder Verma
C-101, Madhu Vihar Rd, Mandawali, Unchepur, (opp. MCD Community Hall), Joshi Colony, Delhi - 110092
phone: +(91)-9810277577, 9999248325

But suggest you check with momo034 - nb. his real name is Jordan.

Momo034 Jordan successfully got his bike to Bishkek from Delhi for Rs 1.35 lac. I discussed the matter as I had paid a lac more for a lousy service by Breeze Shipping a year ago. Eventually I got my bike in another coutry. Am in India. No shipping possible from Nepal. One has to do it from Delhi or Calcutta.

Thanks guys I will need to look into who Jordan used. From Kayjay's response Breeze is not the company to use. I might try Alamaty as I here there are directs flights (Air Asiana) from Delhi. But will need to talk to the shipping company.

Roameo, I talked to Jordon also after he reached Bishkek. He did his own clearing of the bike there from customs. Ryan a member of HUBB settled in Bishkek helped him. Ryan is a wonder chap and we spent some time together too. Almaty is also no issues. I have a biking friend there who can help.

Kayjay,

where are you located in India. Maybe we can meet up when I get there? It won't be for a few months yet but always good to meet local riders.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
